About the trail

The trail was created after the wars of the 1990s as a joint project to encourage cooperation between three countries. It uses shepherd paths, passes above 2,000 m and stays in village guesthouses, so walkers need no tent.

It is a loop of ten stages, usually started in Theth, Plav or Peja.
