About the trail

The trail follows old fishing paths over sand and cliff in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. It is divided into 13 daily stages, so it can be walked with hotels or guesthouses rather than camping.

High summer is too hot for most walkers, so the season runs from September to June.
