About the trail

From Santiago the path heads west to the Costa da Morte, with Fisterra (the cape once thought of as the end of the known world) and Muxía as the two final destinations. Some pilgrims walk to Fisterra, then continue to Muxía, or the other way round; the distance is much the same either way.

No source gives the days on foot, so they are worked out from the length at 20–25 km a day.
