About the trail
The route runs north to south across the western and central Dolomites, using huts and some via ferrata-like sections. It passes the glacier of the Marmolada, the highest peak in the range, and the Pale di San Martino plateau.
The huts open from the end of June to the end of September, and that is the season for the whole route.
